IDEAS TO MAKE THE SPORT OF

MOTORCYCLING FUN AND SAFE!

(INCLUDES A FEW SHORT BORING STORIES)

DEDICATION

The idea for this book came one day when a friend was complaining about fatigue in their hand. It was as a result of them over-gripping.  I suggested that they extend the first two fingers to cover the brake lever which would eliminate over-gripping. Someone said “is that the tip of the day!” The joke became this reality and this is the result, so this book is dedicated to all of the friends I met and rode with during my years of riding. I did not learn all of this on my own and I did not learn all of this from my friends. A lot of it came from the confines of my mind in the area of simple common sense. I thought it was fitting that I pass some of this knowledge along to others that are new to the sport of motorcycling and include a little humor. The humor is so you can hopefully remain awake while you are reading and remember the tips.

I like to refer to TIPS as Things I Purposefully Sought from other people’s knowledge. I remembered them because they were given to me with the intention I would be able to use them to make motorcycling more exciting and safe. I hope each of you will continue the tradition and remember them from me.  It is like the food you purposely leave on the porch for the stray animal that will not eat while you are there, but will come and eat what you left them when you are not around.

So . . . having said that, eat you animals . . . and enjoy!!!!!!!
