This book was written to pass along some information that you may find useful or useless. It not meant to be the Encyclopedia for knowledge, as that has already been done by many others. It is not a technical manual but I hope that each person that reads these pages can find at least a few ideas and that would make it worthwhile. These are not the only ways, but they have served me well for more than 30 years of riding and I continue to learn each day. I believe we can all learn from the most educated scholars, but we must also believe we can also learn from the least simple minded person, or we may become the least simple minded person.
You are welcome to take exception to anything I have written, but you cannot change the fact I have used these ideas to make 30 years of motorcycling fun and injury free. This is in keeping with the fact that one person’s junk may be another person’s treasure. So I hope you find some treasures in this junk.
And remember . . . “never ride faster than your Guardian Angel can stop”. We are all hoping to get a break in life, so be sure your motorcycle also gets some. Breaks or brakes, when used correctly, are the things that make life safe and fulfilling and can keep your body from having them.
So take a break and read on . . .
